Phu Thang Kwian is located at the entrance of Kok Kung Reservoir; it is part of the Phu Hin Poon mountain range, this mountain is also rich in dry evergreen forests, and the grasslands along the stone courtyard from the top of the mountain to see Phu Pha Khao, Phu I Daeng, and Phu Chok. It is also the location of Wat Phu Thang Kwian. From the hillside, there are two paths leading up to the temple. The first path is a walkway along concrete stairs. The second route is a concrete road which can be easily driven to the temple area. The reason why it is called Phu Thang Kwian is because there are two parallel rock grooves on the mountain. Similar to the wheel of a wagon with a story that has been passed down from generation to generation; there was a wagon leader carrying valuables hidden in it. This area, in the past, there were people who tried to dig for valuables and antiques because the beauty of this mountain is part of the motto of Kut Chum District, "Beautiful Vision of Phu Thang Wagon" encountered the natural cycle of the northeastern region of the mountain is a flower field on a stone terrace.
